Nato giving me a haircut.

One sees this bumper-sticker all around the city, and I rather liked it.  From what little Georgian history I know, four centuries is something of a conservative estimate, but Georgians tell me this is just with respect to the Russians…let alone the Persians, Turks, Romans, etc…

Getting a haircut from Nato

A while ago Khatuna’s friend Nato came over to give me a haircut, my first since being in Georgia.  I’d noticed that Georgian men tend to have one of three haircuts: closely cropped, fro-like eruption of curls, or bowl-cut.  None of these appealed to me particularly, so Nato kindly came over and worked her magic.

New Year's with Flash

New Year's with Flash

One of the places I went with Dato (second from right) on New Year’s Eve.  The guy on the far right, Chibo, and the guy in the middle, Badri, are in the Georgian pop band Flash, who performed at the party on Tavisuplebis Moedani that night.  We went to Chibo’s house after their performance for a few drinks and music.  Don’t know who the other guy, with the hood, is.
